Go to (or System Preferences) > Printers & Scanners . Click Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax... (or the + icon). Select your HP LaserJet MFP M139-M142 from the list. If you share with third parties, their policies apply
First, set up your physical printer. Unpack the device and remove all orange packing tapes and materials. Install the black toner cartridge by rocking it side to side five or six times to distribute the toner evenly, then removing the sealing tape. Connect the power cord to the rear of the printer and plug it into a power outlet. Press the Power button and wait for the printer to initialize. Do not connect the USB cable yet unless you are using a wireless setup.
After restarting, download the latest drivers from the official HP website. until the software prompts you to do so.
