Dementus and his horde sweep across the wasteland, eventually coming to the doorstep of the Citadel, the fortress ruled by the iconic tyrant, Immortan Joe. This sets the stage for a power struggle between two monstrous warlords, while a young Furiosa, silent and calculating, is caught between them. She is traded from Dementus to Joe, and to survive, she disguises herself as a mute teenage boy, working her way up the ranks of Joe's war boys. Over the course of more than a decade, she helps build the legendary “War Rig”—a heavily armored tanker that will one day be her chariot of vengeance.
